14th IFAN Conference


IFAN holds an International Conference once every three years, in conjunction with their Members’ Assembly. This conference is aimed at all those who are interested in and use standards, as well as have an interest in standardization and related matters.

The next conference, the 14th IFAN International Conference, will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday the 15/16 October 2013 in Central London, UK.

The focus of this conference will be on latest developments in standards, specifically those that support the users of standards, in particular new technologies aimed at increasing user involvement in standardisation and enabling users, including those in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to input their experiences. There have been remarkable developments in these areas that are not yet widely known.

The 40th IFAN Members’ Assembly will take place immediately thereafter on Thursday 17th October at BSI, Chiswick, London, and will be an opportunity for us to welcome new members.
