Transition to TickITplus Event

Transition to TickITplus Event

"What, why and how?"

Conference: Thursday 26 April 2012
Lloyd's Register Building, London

Introduced in the early 1990s, the TickIT scheme has encouraged greater focus on quality throughout the IT industry for more than two decades. During this time, it has provided extensive guidance on how to apply the requirements of ISO 9001 whilst presenting a framework for the training, qualification and registration of third-party IT auditors.

Although the TickIT scheme has certainly been successful, the IT industry has undergone massive transformation since its introduction. In response, BSI has now launched TickITplus which attends to the changing needs of IT certification by providing a common certification framework which leads to the formal recognition of an organisation’s process capability and maturity.

TickITplus encourages IT providers to seek best value and performance from their management systems and processes. In order to provide you with an understanding of the changes that have been made since the original TickIT scheme, BSI would like to invite you to the Joint TickIT Industry Steering Committee (JTISC) seminar: 'Transition to TickITplus … What, why and how?'.

This will take place on Thursday 26 April 2012 at The Lloyd's Register Building: 71 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 4BS

The seminar has been designed to improve your understanding of the new TickITplus scheme and to help make the transition from TickIT to TickITplus for registered organisations easier.

For just £25 (plus VAT) you will be able to:

  • Gain a better understanding of the need for TickITplus
  • Learn about the content and structure of the TickITplus scheme
  • Discover the key benefits TickITplus can bring to your organization
  • Hear case studies of TickITplus in practice and see how it all works
