BS 10010 launch - Protective Marking

BS 10010 is a specification for Information Classification, Marking and Handling (ICMH) schemes. It is a valuable piece of guidance that will help organisations to think consistently about the sensitivity of information assets they create, use and share, as well as how to handle them appropriately.

At the event, we’ll discuss how this will greatly improve the way in which organisations handle sensitive information assets, whether they be the CEO’s diary, the sales person’s prospect list, HR’s list of recent leavers or anything else important for success.

We’ll also talk about how the standard brings about equivalence of such ICMH classifications amongst private sector organisations, or between private and public sector organisations.  This will make sure all information is handled appropriately when shared.

The agenda includes a discussion about how the standard will be an important enabler for many other business-critical activities and objectives such as governance, risk management, resilience, cyber security, asset management, document management and many more.  We’ll demonstrate how it will also help manage information assets carefully while improving business processes and promoting essential culture change around security.

We hope that you can join us to hear our speakers and be part of the conversation.

In collaboration with CGI
