City Resilience Webinar

We are holding a live webinar with key figures involved in different aspects of the city resilience agenda, discussing their priorities and thoughts about city resilience and the guidance needed.

With the support of BEIS, we are engaging stakeholders during the development of a new city resilience guidance standard and invites your input and questions during this live, free webinar.

The city resilience standard itself will help city leaders and managers, firstly, to appreciate the strategic value of resilience for their city and, secondly, to take appropriate steps to build greater resilience.

Join this 45 minute webinar to find out about:

  • How city leaders and other stakeholders, across the public, private and voluntary sectors, can co-ordinate and collaborate to ‘join the dots’ between diverse activities that have a bearing on a city’s resilience
  • How a city’s resilience brings benefits, both economic and social, to the enterprises and the people based there
  • How collaboration with other cities pursuing a resilience agenda can ensure greater resilience
  • How a standard can help enable greater clarity and consistency in city resilience
  • What key features a guidance standard should include (based on views expressed at our 5 nationwide city resilience workshops)
  • How important continued input from stakeholders will be to ensure that the resulting standard will become the valuable resource that they are looking for

We hope that you can join us to hear our speakers and be part of the conversation.
