BS EN 60811:2012 Electric and optical fibre cables

This is the latest revision of BS EN 60811 Series (37 parts) Electric and optical fibre cables - Test methods for non-metallic materials which has been developed by experts from the cable-making industry.

It is the universal test ‘bible’ for cable testing, covering all the common tests required. The series has been completely restructured into four distinct groups:

  • General Tests
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical
  • Miscellaneous Tests

All of which make the selection process of the correct test standard far easier than with previous editions. There have also been numerous updates to the details of the tests and references themselves.

As there are several parts they range in price and length.
