What is this PAS about?

It describes an efficient way of testing the performance of a single bollard when hit by a vehicle at low speed.

Who is this PAS for?

  • Bollard manufacturers
  • Bollard distributors
  • Bollard specifiers

Why should you use this PAS?

Because it provides a quick, inexpensive and proportionate way of evaluating bollards that will typically be installed in a car park or retail outlet; and will typically be hit accidentally by a low speed passenger vehicle or vehicle criminal.

Note: This PAS does not provide a full-scale vehicle impact test method, and does not cover the performance of a test item or its control apparatus when subjected to blast explosion, ballistic impact or manual attack.
