NotesThis standard is withdrawn as it conflicts with all relevant parts of the Structural Eurocodes series, BS EN 1990 to BS EN 1999 and their National Annexes. BS EN 1990 “Eurocode - Basis of structural design”, which has only one part and its corresponding National Annex, NA to BS EN 1990, is the most relevant but there will be overlap with some of the other 57 parts, especially those dealing with common structural materials such as masonry, timber, concrete and steel. The withdrawal of these standards will reduce the risk of overlap and confusion in this area.
