Specifies tolerance requirements for lens power, cylinder axes, base setting and power of prisms, and centration for spectacle lenses ready for wear. Includes tolerances for progressive power lenses. Recommendations for characteristics, related to tolerances which cannot be specified, are given in an appendix.
