Deals with sound transmission through windows, rooflights and glazed curtain walling. It is an extension of the more basic information on sound transmission and insulation in buildings given in CP 3:Chapter III. It gives guidance on likely external noise levels and degrees of sound insulation afforded by various forms of glazing.
