Three conditions of volatile content. Each condition may exist in two grades differing in matter insoluble in hot alcohol, matter soluble in water, ash and wax. Definition, appearance and colour, sample, copals, rosin, free chlorine and method of expressing analytical results. Optional clauses cover colour index, non-volatile matter soluble in cold alcohol, acid value, free mineral acid, total chlorine, arsenic, lead.
