In fractions of powders which pass 75 micron British Standard test sieve. Air is usual elutriating medium but methods equally applicable to other gases. The Gonell, the Roller (modified ASTM), miniature elutriator methods. Basic principle (Stokes's Law). Evaluating size analysis instrument, correlation of results from different methods of size determination.
