Requirement for resistance seam welding in the fabrication of assemblies in uncoated and coated low carbon steel sheet comprising two thicknesses of metal. Welding techniques, types of steel sheet and combined sheet thickness ranges are given. Also gives guidance on appropriate equipment and welding conditions.
