Quality, shape, range of sizes, physical and chemical requirements. Preferred sizes for modular tiles 100 x 100 x 5 mm and 200 x 100 x 6.5 mm. Predominant range in non-modular tiles from 152 x 152 x 9.5 mm to 108 x 108 x 4 mm. Round edge, attached angle and angle bead tile fittings; cushion edges, spacer lugs. Sampling methods, tests for warpage, curvature, wedging, water absorption, crazing, resistance to chemicals and impact. Illustrations for application of tiles and tile fittings.
