What is BS 8888:2008?

BS 8888:2008 brings together all the international standards needed to prepare technical product specifications in one simple document. This standard helps users to understand the ISO system of product specification relating to technical drawings, engineering drawings and other technical documents better. It sets out a comprehensive index of the standards in the ISO system, and references them according to their specific areas and application. BS 8888:2008 also gives practical recommendations on how UK businesses can apply these standards.
