BS EN 10130:2006 Cold rolled low carbon steel flat products for cold forming. Technical delivery conditions

BS EN 10130 is an indispensable guide for those who specify, purchase or supply steel, of the standard purchase specifications and delivery conditions of cold rolled narrow strip in coils and cut lengths, in thicknesses up to 10mm and of widths less than 600mm, made from unalloyed and alloyed steels.

It lists all the commonly-used industry standard widths and thicknesses and gives standardized values for tolerances of these parameters and many others including industry designations, length, flatness, camber, and type of edge.

The specification and ordering of this type of steel can be made quicker, easier and safer by referring to this standard on the purchase order.

This standard does not cover cold rolled flat products for which separate standards already exist, such as:

  • Cold rolled non-oriented magnetic steel sheet and strip
  • Grain oriented non-oriented magnetic steel sheet and strip
  • Cold rolled electrical non-alloy and steel strip and strip delivered in the semi-processed state
  • Cold rolled uncoated low carbon and high yield strength steel flat products for cold forming
  • Cold reduced blackplate.
