It covers recommendations for the performance of glass, plastics glazing sheet materials and sealing materials, dimensional recommendations for glazing, glazing and fixing techniques, handling, storage and care on site, large openings with structural glass assemblies, frameless doors and entrances and mirrors.
Recommenations and guidance are given on the following aspects of design and performance: natural lighting, thermal considerations, sound, security, fire, durability, wind loading and maintenance.
