GHG Management and Climate Change

Climate change has been identified as one of the greatest challenges ahead, affecting nations, governments, business and citizens over future decades. In response to this challenge initiatives are being developed and implemented to limit greenhouse gas (GHG) concentrations in the Earth’s atmospheres.

Key standards:

BS ISO 14064-1:2006 - Greenhouse gases. Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals

BS ISO 14064-2:2006 - Greenhouse gases. Specification with guidance at the project level for quantification, monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emission reductions or removal enhancements

BS ISO 14064-3:2006 - Greenhouse gases. Specifications with guidance for the validation and verification of greenhouse gas assertions

BS ISO 14065:2007 - Greenhouse gases. Requirements for greenhouse gas validation and verification bodies for use in accreditation or other forms of recognition

BS EN ISO 14067 Carbon Footprint of Products

PD/ISO TR 14069 - Liming materials. Description and minimum requirements

PAS 2050 - Specification for the assessment of the life cycle greenhouse gas emissions of goods and services
PAS 2050-1 - Assessment of life cycle greenhouse gas emissions from horticultural products
PAS 2050-2 -  Assessment of life cycle greenhouse gas emissions - Supplementary requirements for the application of PAS 2050:2011 to seafood and other aquatic food products

PAS 2060:2014 - Specification for the demonstration of carbon neutrality
